Portfolio

I've worked on websites and digital projects across numerous industry sectors over the last 10 years.

Here's just a few of the sectors I've created websites for:

Sports:
This website formed the digital arm of this educational organisation's recent rebrand. The brief tasked us with translating the new brand to web whilst also keeping page load times low - a task we hit by matching or besting the most fierce of competitors.
Education:
During my time as a web developer, I've worked on many college and university websites. With each having their own feel and identity, I've had to approach each of these builds differently - and all have provided new front-end challenges.
Retail:
As part of a long term contract with a UK convenience store; I was part of many projects tasked with improving franchise footfall and user engagement. Over this time I was part of the build of two iterations of their customer facing website - the second of which to showcase their new branding; an intranet for franchise owners which allowed them to manage and track their stock and purchases; and a POS Editor system, giving franchise owners freedom to produce their own POS relevant to their individual stores.
Financial:
I have built the front-end for several websites within the financial sector. These have been targeted at brokers so as to provide them with as much information as possible, to help their customers find the right product. These have included displaying FAQs, help guides, videos, criteria; as well as tools such as: location based searches, and calculators.
Hospitality:
I have built the front-end for a major hospitality brand website; partnerting with one of the most prestigious international sporting events in the world. This project involved working with people from many different countries, making it a unique and fantastic experience.

Dark mode?
Toggle dark mode Looks like you've got your UI set to dark mode

It's always good to have a dark mode; toggle it on and off by pressing the "Toggle dark mode" button.

Dark mode is enabled by using CSS variables. These are set against :root and then overridden by a class of -dark-mode.

:root {
  --main-bg-colour: #{$white};
  --base-font-colour: #{$black};
  --title-square: rgba(0,0,0,0.1);
}
